This article immediately triggered recollections of my Palm III I had - in around 1996 There was a submarine / depth charge game that I found addictive. Last time I powered it up, a few years ago the LCD screen was not working.

The real issue would be the quality of the proposed solution - whatever the tools or system used to produce the proposed code change. It seems that the code has been examined and the quality bar has passed satisfactorily. ( My interest in this is that I was a test analysist for 20 years for mainly corporate software . I did not do code reviews )

I recall, One bit sound was detailed extensively in Byte Magazine starting in mid 70s. A square wave that has its frequency varied. A google of the words " Generating speech with a square wave wave , Byte magazine " picks up lots links about this technique. Fourier transform show a square wave consists of odd sine wave harmonics. [A more advanced technique (more than one bit) would use microprocessor interrups to generate several sqare waves, output them with more than one IO pin and combine them with a resister network]

This mention of one bit sound made me remember the Lis’ner 1000 project of Steve Ciarca , cira 1984 , WHICH WAS speech recognition system of about 30 words. It used a GI SP1000 chip

I never had a Commododore , but I had several other computers starting from around 1979. From that era , from arount 1975 forward there where often SEVERAL NEW different computers released each year. That include SBC Single board computer that was sold as the board , often without a power eupply or case and S100 systems and DIY hobbyiest build systems I still have most of books and magazines from that era, most of my computers , got lost, I still have a few.

Its not clear to me if the driver died while car was moving? and the car stopped somehow as a result of this?

If so I wonder if car activates blinker - hazard lights and tries to move to the edge of the road ( to the slower lan? ) to try avoid accidents ?

Apparently ...“.....If you set up a social media account as a young boy in Australia today, it takes an average of 23 minutes for you to be fed misogynistic, violent misogynistic content online ..."

OK that action allows them to do the transformation.

But how about the importing into the AI tool?

Does this "transformation" somehow override the authors complaints of AI taking their book and not compensating the authors for its mass usage in the AI tool.

The Facebook owner has agreed to cough up billions after claims it set out to turn kids into addicts – but only if TikTok and YouTube match it.
