I’ve noticed this pattern a lot too, it’s awful. No human would ever write like that.

Might depend on what you're comparing to.

Came from iTerm2, and Ghostty is much faster and minimal.

100% way too long. Such a shame as it looks like a nice product but detracts from credibility.

My experience recently is that antigravity CLI is much better than Gemini CLI now. Gemini would often get stuck in loops before. Fine for personal projects at least, especially for the price (got a year’s sub for $5 on G2A)

But I don’t think it’s as good as Claude Code or Codex yet.

Don’t quite see the point of this. It is well known that MCP is a bit bloated for coding agents at least.

But, why not just use CLIs for each tool? That seems to be where things are going anyway

And using MCP as an internal communication method seems odd when you could use the APIs directly

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, there is some irony that the blog itself looks to be vibe-coded too.

100% this! So often it complains failing unit tests are not its fault.

I’ve found that Claude can make decent mermaid diagrams pretty reliably. Not sure I quite understand what problem Zindex solves

Annoying, signed up for a personal pro account a couple of weeks ago. No way I’m going to spend $200 just for a few personal projects.

Agree with this. Maybe we should start making PRs with the proposed spec and then the maintainer can get their agent to implement it.

This is similar to what we’ve started to do at work. The first stage of reviewing a PR is getting agreement on the spec. Writing and reviewing the code is almost the trivial part.

In my experience, it was fine for simple tasks - but CC was well ahead for anything which required substantial “thinking”.

Seems like an admirable project but they’re building on creaky foundations. Even the way TexLive is released feels like something from academia than a real piece of software.

Stared typst ages ago. Thanks for the reminder to try it out. Now the cost of switching is so low too
