I got used to warp’s terminal, with really nice text editing, but it’s gotten so slow and weird, that I can’t stand it anymore. After trying out all the others ghostty, alacritty etc. I still found it incredibly annoying to have to navigate with different shortcuts from the rest of my stack, sometimes copying and pasting commands back and forth into my text editor just to edit and run them.

So I wrote this, and I’m dogfooding it as my daily driver.

They don’t do ips they just use SES, same as resend and a bunch of other email startups lately

This is an aws ses wrapper so is basically irrelevant in the email world

Ha, it’s like that for us except we deploy an update at least every few months, which obliterates our machine and restarts then launch sequence

I switched to jemalloc on a sidekiq queue and memory dropped from 8gib to under 1gib

There’s a slow memory leak somewhere in my code but with jemalloc it no longer actually matters.

Thanks to jemalloc team for this!

If this is the case then I simply won’t engage. 90 % will not engage and you’re left with the 10% who are willing to put everything they do out there publicly and permanently- probably because they have an ulterior motive or commercial reason to do so
