FWIW my Pixel 4 is still going strong, haven't even thought of getting a replacement. My partner is on the previous Pixel 3 (released October 2018) and no complaints there either.

Check out https://useful-forks.github.io/ if you haven't seen it, agree it'd be great to have this kind of thing a lot more visible particularly on repos with no commits for like 6+ months or something.

A lot of twitter permissions, perhaps worth explaining why you need all this and/or reduce them?

Not sure how you imagine push notifications to work, but literally Google provide a "service" for this so app developers don't have to. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firebase_Cloud_Messaging
