Unrelated to TFA, this site is spectacular. I recommend any other HNer here to give a look to the posts in the "andinensis" section, where the author describes homesteading in a semi-remote area in Chile, and generating his own electrical power with a water stream that runs through his property.
It has been shared here before as well.

I think it does if the books are all in a same, unique folder. If they are scattered around your main/home books directory, it doesn't

I use the Project:Title[1] addon, I think someone else here on HN suggested it a few months ago. The only catch is that you need to update it manually each time after updating KOReader

I've been following this guy a couple of years now (as well as many other mentioned in the comments like LowTechMagazine, Simplifier, OSE, etc)
I always liked the WiFi catenaric (instead of parabollic) reflector for it's simplicity,though I think drawing parabolas shouldn't be that difficult either to get a more directional reflector

In my experience, you then need to activate it using real data from real people. I lent my data to a colombian colleague a couple of years ago, as he did not have a DNI yet.

Something I read here on HN some time ago and that can be of your interest: you can get specific Atom feeds from Youtube channels (only long format videos, only shorts, only live streams, only popular, etc)

You can read it in the Medium frontend scribe.rip, to avoid some Medium shenanigans. I do think bolding stays the same though, it seems to have lots of bolding. Weird style.
