That rings true for me too. Interestingly, I've never considered returning to ADHD medication to try and manage this, but now I've thought about it, I'm not sure it'd help in this specific scenario (though I know your comment was about ADHD generally being tough to rangle, rather than just this specific aspect)

Hey, I'm this guy :) And I think you're right. The technological solution was semi-serious (though I'm not sure that it came across in the write-up)

What I expect to get from it are hopefully new insights on the behaviours I described, not from my dumb Airtable setup, but from just putting _something_ new in to try and break the cycle. While setting it up (and writing this post), I was thinking about the problem in-depth, which is what's really valuable here.

Tip #4 on your list might work for me. I'm going to try that next time it comes up. Thanks!

I think the point was that open-sourced apps aren't vulnerable to an attack vector like this, which is true. Of course, not everything can be open-sourced, but the poster's point still stands.

Anybody else noticed that the link for "Cloudflare Workers" goes to netlify.com?

But what are you doing now? Do you have a job, and if so, is it in the same industry? Did a complete career change help you find something you can work on/care about again?

Looks pretty cool. I'm working on a project that relies on regularly scraping large amounts of data. My codebase uses nodejs, and I'd love to try out a few of the features listed under "Helpful utils and configurability" as they might be able to solve a few pain points I have.

I've developed such a deep-rooted, passionate, magmatic hatred for Microsoft Teams that I'm now infamous amongst my friends for my mini rants. I'm a freelance software consultant, and many of my clients have their own Microsoft Teams Teams (?), and there's no easy way to join and switch between multiple teams using the same account. Typing is slow, and literally _everything_ else is too, and video calls regularly bring my 2019 i7 MacBook Pro to its knees.

If a witch approached me and told me she could make Microsoft Teams disappear for good at the cost of severing a finger (presumably for a potion...I've got no idea; I'm a developer, not a witch), I'd offer her two for the trouble.

I also sound like a dalek - or so I'm told - when I use my AirPods while also using the MX Master 3 mouse and MX Keys via Bluetooth on my MacBook Pro 2019 16" model. I had a hunch it was Bluetooth interference in some form, but I didn't know exactly what was causing it...turns out it's my Logitech stuff!

This is insane. The only pro I'll even entertain is the potential to cut a few minutes off your CI/CD build time, but for the vast majority, even that brings no actual benefits.
