You'd want to get something like a RTX Pro 6000 (~ $8,500 - $10,000) or at least a RTX 5090 (~$3,000). That's the easiest thing to do or cluster of some lower-end GPUs. Or a DGX Spark (there are some better options by other manufacturers than just Nvidia) (~$3000).

I'm sure there is plenty of data/benchmarks out there and I'll let that speak for itself, but I'll just point out that there are 2 built-in core modules in Node.js, worker_threads (threads) and cluster (processes) which are very easy to bolt on to an existing plain http app.

Node.js uses libuv, which implements strategy 2. mentioned on the linked webpage.

"libuv is a multi-platform C library that provides support for asynchronous I/O based on event loops. It supports epoll(4), kqueue(2)"

Very nice! Just a note (as the site says on bottom left side), this can vary depending on the CPU you use, would be nice to be able to select all different variations of supported CPUs as a future feature.

Housing shortage, at least in the US, isn’t really a problem of capital availability. It’s mostly due to local zoning regulations that make it very difficult to actually create housing, regardless of capital availability.

Taxes don’t decrease the availability of capital, it simply re-distributes it to the politically-connected.

Every time I see a post like this - it’s like duh Israel has less people than just one state, Michigan, and there are 49 others.

Most of those devices only have a private IP address and use NAT to be able to communicate via the Internet.

Only servers that need to be publicly accessed directly like a web server actually need a public IP.

I call this speculation. In most real estate markets, a normal house is a depreciating asset that requires upkeep, maintenance, property taxes, and other liabilities.
