I don't eat octopus or veal. Delicious or not, there are some lines that perhaps should not be crossed.

My first grandchild was born in 2000. And the COBOL panic for Y2K is probably partly my fault because 4 characters were too computational expensive when I wrote code that probably still powers your Igloo ice containers and GEICO insurance policies. 80's tech still persists!

I'm okay with complaining and proposing solutions, but saying "blue" and "red" in colors for product designs is manipulating children is odd.

Probably most people don't Xerox things or Fotomat pictures, but still ask for a Kleenex, or use a Thermos, Band-aid, Flip-phone, Chapstick or Post-it

"perceptibly" perhaps not so much? blue eyes are definitely newer.

pale skin perhaps only after agriculture replaced meat eating for D3 production.

despite what Sliders intimated, Europeans are more Cro-mag than 'thals ;)

Yes; the nexus for legal purposes is generally the location of the user, not the broker

Like many older people I know, my notarized DNR, provided by and on file with my insurance company, local hospital, primary doctor, and medical power of attorney, includes standard language permitting organ harvesting.

Here's the case: https://www.justice.gov/usao-ndtx/pr/antifa-cell-members-con...

The 30 year sentence was for hiding documentation being sought under a federal warrant after being called by his wife and asking him to do so. The warrant was for documentation after the protesters shot fireworks to bring out first responders from the ICE facility, and allegedly one of the group shot a responder in the neck instead of the head.

A lot of stuff to scrutinize and complain about in the sentence, but it wasn't just "transporting Zines"

CAISO claims that and cleantechnica might parrot it, but there are blackouts ALL THE TIME in southern california.

In Palm Springs I was down with brownouts 103 times since I bought a sine wave UPS in December, and multi hour blackouts 4 times. My mother in Riverside, brother in Laguna Beach are similar.

Last week it was 3 times here over the course of three days. It's lived experience for me. Reliability collapsed two years ago

You forgot the /s

That is a slam campaign by Milei's political opposition; the company the article mentions (perPETuate) only collects DNA for when cloning becomes feasible. That Time magazine and NY Times repeated the silliness is more a reflection upon modern editorial standards than anything else.
