To be noted too that old wheat varieties weren't likely cultivated with modern fertilizers, which increase considerably the yield, too.

Do you imply that it was really cheap, just like solar+batteries?

CBT helps to an extent, however it can't replace meds for things such as long drives or reading unstimulating things (in my case, law or math). Also it requires a lot of routine and discipline (=energy) which can be hard to achieve consistently.

The first psychiatrist I saw told me to do CBT alone, but I also needed to change jobs to a complete different field as doing boring excels would never be possible for me. I mean, it's true but not very practical and quite risky as a life path.

With the old GPT-3 api in the olden days, you could set the seed and get deterministic outputs! Interesting results could be drawn from it, as for instance if you use the prompts "a blue bird"/"a blue bird in the sky" the blue bird would have the same look in both with similar seeds.

When all of your industry will have gone to China and you'll have no knowledge and specialised workers left, you'll have only your eyes to cry.

The US market isn't a pool large enough? Why don't they publish the ad on their website then?

I agree, searches return very often blank pages and I find myself more and more using google instead. I won't likely renew my subscription.

Meta has at the moment also a massive direct effect as it is a monopoly on its advertising segment.

The effect on economy I'm talking about is a functional one, ads and slop will continue to be served on your social network of choice. Second order like "bad vibes" will be forgotten in a month, a quarter at max and then hedge fund managers will move to something else.

I'm not saying that we should or shouldn't, I would like to know the line of demarcation. Splitting Meta would have a very low effect on the economy as the services are individually profitable and would continue to be operated, without the all-knowing centralized database/24h Telescreen.

At some point, similar to the camera/face recognition debate, it's about a choice of society that we want to live in. I think that's an interesting debate.

They are designed to be easy to bypass. Plenty of tutorials exist online and I can't imagine that Meta engineers didn't know about it beforehand.

This line of argument ("think of the retirees!!!") could be used in many cases, however when is it acceptable to break companies for the greater (non-financial) good?

On a parallel, can't we criticize any decision reducing the market cap of companies as an attack on the retirement portfolios? Say, if we required connected glasses to display a red light of more than x lumens when recording, would that be ok, even if it decreased Meta's market cap?

I used 2.6 Pro and it seems to overthink way too much, leading indeed to very slow build time.

Can you explain your opinion? I'm curious but such vague comments won't convince me.
