He's trying to sell the importance of LLMs and the need for data centers to his diminishing base - at the behest of his billionaire handlers and foreign investors. The (mis)use of words as a propaganda tool are at the core of this regime.

I read it. I don't care who has the last word. LOL (so petty)

Childish petty bootlicking extremism it seems. Someone high top flagged it because their feelings were hurt despite the points, the comments, the traction.

I am grateful that you do not have any more power here than merely embarrassing yourself with childish tantrums. Otherwise, I am certain you would have deleted my account and possibly taken the entire forum down with it.

You talk about the community here and create a fake account for this nonsense. You hypocrite.

I will save your response, screenshot it, share it and frame it... because it answered the question we have all been asking. Why is HN like this?

This is a nice, clean format - zero clutter! External links open a new tab (my preference!), great categories for filtering, interesting/immersive articles are showing up (I've already clicked a few).

You did a nice job here.

I'm going to bookmark this as a regular news source. Hopefully you can keep this running for a while - I quite like it.

Unrelated to the thread... but do you do any writing at all - sci-fi, short stories..? I'm enjoying your take on this.

This is a nicely done reader - solid UI, good set of options in settings, user-friendly, great privacy policy.

I'm surprised you haven't submitted it yet. From the little 'kicking the tires' I just performed, it feels ready. Good luck with this.

This is very well done. The entire site is pretty awesome including the related games. Very surprised it didn't receive more traction on HN. (bookmarked)

I like rendering through a browser to gain seamless hyperlink support. Conversion to html for lynx; chawan supports MD natively. They both do a nice job.

pandoc -s -f markdown -t html file.md | lynx -stdin

chawan -T text/markdown file.md

I've been testing (and verifying) common facts - homeruns, stolen bases, place of birth, birthdays, etc. Loving it. No fluff, no wasteful clicking and re-clicking - just the facts!

It's a shame this isn't getting more traction (4 points, 1 hour). This has already outperformed both baseball-reference and regular AI (hallucinations) in terms of how quickly I can get from Question-to-Answer.

Hope you keep this available for a long time. Give it a chance for baseball stat lovers to discover it.
