I've been itching to revisit Neal Asher's Polity universe for a hopeful glimpse of the future. Sure, the AI overlords are not without fault, but at least their goals are benevolent

I just did this today on a hunch after a meandering session. Prompting the bot to ask both "how and why" questions was a surprisingly effective way to bring back the key points of the design.

I'm wondering if this could be a PR gate - a human must answer a quiz succesfully before it can be merged...

Thanks for pointing out safereddit and other redlib instances! I had the old.reddit.com redirect configured for Uruky and was devastated that it no longer worked. Updated, cheers!

How (why) does that site block reader mode... At least on Firefox Android it offers the reader mode button, but turning it on just redirects back to the page (which is too wide, hence the reader mode attempt)

Yeah, as mentioned in the post, so were mine before turning on the recommended configurations. Afterwards they've been quite nice

Juxt's Allium https://juxt.github.io/allium/ is an interesting entry in this 'pseudo DSL' space to define and store system specifications and requirements. I think it's likely that this sort of 'persistent specifications to help bots work correctly' will be a good approach when things finally cool down a bit.
