Would avro make more sense in a big data world? As I understand it, avro has all the same capabilities of protobuff but it is much more ubiquotous in the big data world, being natively supported by all the big frameworks (spark, flink)

Honest question, would this really need a control goup given that 100% people die of it? What would the control group prevent or provide?

I feel that the article is talking about the same thing as what is described in this talk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyXRYgjQXX0 - "disagreeable givers", which the host of the talk argues are one of the most valueable employees to have in a company while also being the least understood and often let go.
I am a disagreeable giver myself and I have experienced a lot of backlash by the higher ups inside companies for being one, while also being praised a lot by my colleagues that were working alongside me.

2 games come to mind...
- Turing complete: helped me understand how a computer works, how binary works and what the instructions and operations look like at the hardware level
- Factorio: helped me understand broader aspects like availability, fault tolerance, decoupling, team management, prioritization.
