You probably would have said the same thing 3 or 4 years ago. But hardly anything change. Your IDE, Photoshop etc. are still all desktop apps.

Do not expect that google will read your email when you try to make your point. You will only get a template email answer, zero fucks given.

Adobe AIR works great, has support for some phone features build in, all others can be added using native extensions.

Skinning can be done very well, and the app could also run in the browser via flash.

The bad part is, AIR is relativly slow on older mobile devices.

I call that thing bullshit. "Our analysis indicates that TCP is unwieldy and inappropriate for MMORPGs" yet World of Warcraft, Lineage I/II, Guild Wars, Ragnarok Online, Anarchy Online, Mabinogi all use TCP.
