Longtime creative and builder who misses mTropolis (if you know you know). Founded some startups, worked in MAG7, listens to MF Doom daily.

Funny. I'd bet on whatever model they used over whoever showed up from today's FBI.

Nvidia is making steady progress on their Cosmos world models. AMD acquired Fei-Fei Li's WorldLabs to stay competitive. I'm not bullish on physical AI as the primary use case but we'll see what 2027 holds.

Wow this takes me back to the days of the Sonic HD DVD authoring system. I designed and authored several big titles back then and menu design was always the heaviest lift. Fascinating that this article is interesting enough so many years later to people to rank this high on HN.

Interesting take. With agents, MCP and the right setup teams can address the "throw it over the wall" design to engineering hand-offs that plagued product development for decades. A design tool via MCP feeds into the dev env and with agent skills and plugins what's current in code can flow back to update the design. I've experienced these problems first hand at Amazon / AWS and as a side project I'm working on a human and agent friendly design system for building AI apps.

I feel like this survey should be incentivized or compensated. It’s presumptive that people care enough to give feedback.

"...Use the good judgment of the human and scale with the AI" this is the way.

Agreed with other comments about the UX. I'm more interested in that than the model itself. Would like to start seeing UI like this where you get to choose the model and compare different models. Can't jump all over the internet to each model developers sandbox just to test their models. Doing it from one place would be nice.

Nvidia benefits the most from rapid acceleration by all labs. A unilateral slow down for safety and better alignment arguably hurts them the most.
