brother it is the executive branch that isn't following the constitution. if your house is on fire you don't say "oh no! curtains are burning!"

They are doing exactly what they are being asked to do. There's nothing rogue about what they are doing. They are following orders.

well, they certainly aren't advertising it, are they?

meta employees will look at this and think that their job isn't political. what a j o k e.

...And I still can't buy Andor Season 2 on blu-ray. coincidence?

no, lol, a totally different one

hilarious that the sort of comment you predicted was at the top of the page when i got here.

funny you think cops are supposed to actually solve crimes.

> I have not actually read the paper. In fact, there are three closely related papers [TC26a], [TC26b], [TC26c], and I have not read any of them. I tried, but soon gave up. The math(s) dump does not appear to be strong on exposition. Instead, I asked Fable to explain [TC26a] to me. Fable seems to understand the argument and thinks that it is correct.

this does not feel like a healthy place to be

who do you think controls it? it's not a secret, they trade on the stock market

ofc it's not the singular reason, but it does feel like the past 3 years have been silicon valley brain geniuses really stepping on the gas w/r/t datacenter buildup instead of using those big brains to figure out how to reduce single use plastics or whatever. like, we know climate change is real. and yet these giant powerhungry buildings, using so much compute they literally cause shortages on the consumer market, are continuously being built to unclear ends.

Obviously nobody wants this, but if i cant ask my chatbot what it thinks of the texts my wife sends me we'd be lost as a civilization.

is the trend of increasing weekly downloads not itself meaningful?
