> Just send USDC to Coinbase

Sorry, but I'm not much informed about cryptocurrencies. How does one get USDC from Monero? Through some other exchange acceping both?

Not sure about this, isn't it hard to convert to fiat currency for real-world spending? Since it is often used for illegal activities, Coinbase (and I guess other big exchanges as well) don't trade it.

> Cash can also be stolen if someone takes your wallet, leaving you no recourse except the law

The issue that is often raised with Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies is that not even the law can help you in case of theft. Now, it's true that the police wouldn't bother helping me recover a wallet with 100€ into it, but things change if someone steals millions or even billions like in this case.

Does Ghostty implement a drop-down terminal? Considering to switch from Yakuake.

Given what you write here, would you feel safe giving AI agents access to the physical world? Which kind of safeguards would you implement?

Personal preference of the author, he made at least one video on YouTube on why he dislikes Rust. I think he finds it too cumbersome and not worth it when the software isn't security-critical (not that I agree, just reporting what IIRC his stance is).

This is actually the point of the parent comment: you have to read the CVE and see for yourself if it impacts your specific system or not.
