Derelicts

Aren't these the same guys who published Stray?

This is an interesting one, would love to see more of this happening

I've done the same just with a different provider. And I see a trend, people go for the lesser evil out of the ones available.

I agree with all this. Times are changing and its happening so fast that not everyone can catch up. All the problems we had in the 70's did not get fully resolved, but seem to be getting worse, just look at global warming or oil and gas prices jumping sky high. Not to mention housing prices.

Will see where the world goes in the next decade.. I sure hope it gets better.

Very interesting, thanks for sharing.

Who cares what Redditors have to say about this? I read the TC article, and I read the official Nord response. TL: DR - Verizon owns TechCrunch and Verizon owns a VPN as well. The breach that happened is very specific and does not involve any real danger to Nord users, but TechCrunch article stated the opposite without any proof. I think it's crystal clear what is going on here.

After watching Mark Zuckerberg testifying on Capitol hill I think it's obvious Facebook and Alphabet are leading the show... A very interesting case is Alexander Nix speech against UK comittee, recommend.

The headline definitely is an important element in the success of this story.

A very interesting read, thanks for posting this here. I'm not that well educated on Russian politics, so maybe the community here can help me find an answer. Is the threat to disconnect Russia from the global internet real at any point? Is it even technically possible? I know Putin likes to throw threats around but ever since they annexed Crimea I don't think he makes idle threats anymore.

The dialectics of the human nature. We have a psychological tendency to talk about what we lack as a defensive mechanism. That's my few cents after reading Freud.

Thanks for sharing this. "To overturn the March 12 result, she would need at least 75 lawmakers to change their minds." I don't see Theresa May achieving that.

It's a great and important article but feedback should not be overpushed. I agree that "opting out" is a way to go but mandatory feedback one-on-ones "The expectation that I set is, either you come to me with a difficult conversation, or I’ll come to you with one." this can easily be taken too far at least if we're talking about IT communities. I found that encouraged open hours do work very well but you need to assure that each conversation will remain absolutely in strict confidence. Retrospectives work very well too to identify what problems cause team underperformance. And 360 reviews so far showed highest results done once every three months, each team member had time to rethink their behavior, - what's good and where to improve. So far one-on-ones were pretty stressful but that might be the specifics of the company I work in. Overall this is a great article and feedback culture is very important, thank you.
