Glad to see it learned to use spaces instead of tabs.

In all seriousness, the demo really looks amazing. I'm curious to see more elaborate, real world examples though.

One statistic that stood out for me was "Professional coding experience":

< 1 year: 29%

1-2 years: 20%

3-5 years: 20%

6-10 years: 14%

11+ years: 17%

That means almost half of the respondents have 2 years or less professional experience with python. Not sure how that influences all the other results.

This is awesome!

However as the discussion from earlier today shows (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=22827833), it is still very expensive.

The display used in this article costs about $1500 (https://shopkits.eink.com/product/31-2%CB%9D-monochrome-epap...). Which is a bit too high for me to want to make something similar for myself.

I did something similar, my gf wanted me text her that I got home safely after I left her place. So I automated it that when I disconnected to her WiFi and within a certain time reconnected to mine it would text her. She noticed it when she drove me back home once and still got the text.

> If I had two cores, my CPU usage would be 50% since my computer can run two processes at the same time. The load average of a computer with 2 cores that has a 100% CPU usage would be 2.00.

If I recall correctly the CPU usage would still be 100% but could go up to 200% if both cores are fully used.
