This is big for me and I didn’t realize it until recently. Right now I’ve added a local ice rink for pickup hockey and a golf course as a third space for each season.
I’d be curious to hear what others are doing.

I was an enlisted sailor aboard the USS Mount Whitney when it experienced a major fire in the shipyards in Croatia and extended our visit by months[0]. Career growth was halted during that period for nearly everyone as they spent months babysitting contractors and standing extra watches with only the slightest bit of valuable training conducted over the period.

I use the Apple one family plan which is 2TB of storage so I’ve likely simply never seen it.

You don’t have to pay Apple to manage your files. You can manage them with a traditional file manager if you’d like akin to any other device.
If you want cloud storage, Apple provides free iCloud storage that will keep everything synced across your devices. There is an upper limit to the free tier space, at which you can purchase additional storage or move to a cloud platform of your choice.
