I'm a marketing strategist with 14+ years of experience in both agency and in-house roles, combining data analysis, CRM, and creative planning to drive real business impact. I started my career as a media planner, leading campaigns for global brands, and later transitioned into client-side marketing where I focused on customer lifecycle optimization, revenue growth, and cross-functional leadership.

My strengths lie in translating customer data into actionable insights, executing multi-channel strategies, and managing teams through collaboration and trust. I thrive in fast-paced environments that require both analytical thinking and creative problem-solving — and I’m passionate about building marketing initiatives that not only perform, but also resonate.

Currently seeking opportunities where I can contribute to marketing innovation, brand growth, and team empowerment.

Recently I started sharing insights on regional revitalization and digital transformation in Japan.

I recently started a YouTube series looking at regional revitalization in the suburbs of the Tokyo metropolitan area.

Even within the same commuter belt, some areas continue to attract population while others face population decline and aging.

In the first episode, I look at population trends, daytime population, aging rates, population density, transportation, and industry to understand why these differences emerge.

This article features a short video excerpt from the first episode.

I’m interested in how suburban regions can respond to demographic change when they are still closely connected to a major metropolitan area.

A major earthquake struck Kumamoto, Japan, in July 2026, causing significant damage and loss of life. I created this short AI-generated drone show animation as a message of support for Kumamoto and its recovery. I tried to recreate the visual language of a real drone show with AI: drones taking off, gathering above Kumamoto Castle, forming messages, descending to the ground, and finally disappearing. The main message is: “Kumamoto, stay strong.” This is an independent creative project by Akiko Tsuka, who creates videos about regional revitalization and local communities in Japan.

A short documentary explaining how Japan is trying to revitalize rural communities through digital talent development.

It starts with a local government project in Yatsushiro City and expands to explain Japan's national Digital Garden City Initiative, which supports smart agriculture, digital healthcare, mobility, and regional digital workforce development.

English subtitles available.
