Not sure, I added reddit.com/r/livesound and it seemed to work. I will look into why the direct path doesn't capture.

The guest account is quite basic. To see/test all features, I would highly recommend creating a trail account:

* Arrange by new / arrange by old

* View all items / view only unseen items

* Quick add feeds

* Create feed groups, discover feeds

* Like/visited tracking

* Remembered layout settings

* Google Reader Import

Hotkeys include:

* O: Open

* J: Next

* K: Previous

* U: Wide Layout

Hello all

I would like to thank you all for all the feedback you gave me last time:

https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=5471928

Here is feedback based on your questions and suggestions last time:

1. What has changed since your past post

I have teamed up Wednesday, and we plan to invest into the mid-long term for the site.

Some notable steps we have taken:

- Recoded the entire site to be scalable for an unlimited amounts of users

- Monetization happens through a subscription model, with more users, we can add more servers

- Plans to continuously improve the site

2. Google Imports

- Yes

3. Features

- Fast

- Simple, clean

- Unlimited Scroll

- Full features on registration

- Folders

- Hotkeys

- Layout customization

- Smart/read items

- Liked/Visited items

- Up to the minute feed updates (rather than hourly polling)

- https authentication

In our plan to continue developing the site, we will be adding a mobile version, personalization, export functionality, and much more as time goes on. Feedback and feature request are always welcome!

Thanks

To address your question better, the plan has now turned into creating a subscription services which will allow to setup better services whilst keeping traffic standardised to a medium that allows us to grow the server farm as more people join. Development is underway to turn it into a fully scalable system for future growth, whilst continually adding features etc.

Sure. I have been musing over building a website for a long time. I knew that to build something new was difficult. So I wanted to build something cleaner, faster and simpler than other people. News is the number one thing that people often seek on the internet, and thus, that is the path I went down. Originally, it was just a site that I created as a hobby for myself to view, but as i progressed, quite a few people liked it, and then Google Reader died, and I thought, this would be a good opportunity.

I haven't heard of it, I will look into adding it.

In terms of mysql error, the site is getting way more traffic than my simple hosting provider can provide. I will need to bumb it up.

Definitely due to too much traffic, its just a cheap shared hosting site in Australia. I will definitely have to bump it up.

Ah. You createa group and click on it (its highlighted) and then you move to the right side, and click on the feeds you want, you can use the input to search for feeds, or, put the feed directly into the input box.

The column on the right its popular views in your feed selection. The 'views' should hopefully outline this fact. I agree I have to setup a better method (or instructions) on how to add feeds to a group
