If the same thing happened to RedLib (A Reddit front end alternative), it would be better. RedLib is not realiable now due to the limitation from Reddit APIs.

Yes. I received the announcement through an email this week. But, as you said, they give a short notice before the deadline.
My employer has a ton of Git repositories in Bitbucket. I am not sure how they manage this change. I will update the configuration using a script on my end. Last time I tried, the new endpoint didn't work. I might miss something.

I find it crashes browser tabs on Firefox mobile.
I open someone's profile in a new tab. Then, the older tabs become unresponsive. I read a post on HN a few weeks ago that Linkedin did scan browser extensions https://browsergate.eu.
