For a while now, malicious actors have been using LLMs to make semi-plausible looking automated edits to Wikipedia pages to shift discourse, alter information, etc. Fortunately with wikimedia we have a revision history but it's been pretty overwhelming to the dedicated editor staff they have on hand.
