To make sure you install the msi, you want to use ‘winget install --id Microsoft.PowerShell --installer-type wix —source winget’. The MSIX will be called PowerShell7 in winget and the msi will be called PowerShell7-x64 and they will coexist without warning until it becomes an issue for you.
