If math is nothing but solving puzzles for fun then I think a lot of people should be very pissed off that they are doing hard labor while being taxed to fund a puzzle hobby group.
Of course I don't believe that math is just fun puzzles. But if it were, then it would deserve to die as a career, AI or not.
