These “remote but actually not” jobs are my pet hate. They clog up remote job listings and can never offer an actual reason why the employee must appear in person every week/month/quarter. It’s the worst of all possible worlds! No close connection with your coworkers or regular office benefits, no ability to work from anywhere, plus regular expensive/gruelling travel.
