It depends. For someone who’s not disciplined, WFH may not be as productive. I have been using an app to track how focused I have been. I find that when I work at home, my focused score is usually lower.

Here’s the app: micro-time.com

When asking LLM repeated improving or adding a new feature in a codebase, the most frustration risk is that LLM might wipe out already working code!

What are your strategies to prevent such destructions of LLM?

I feel that the massive scale of social media created a monster of social impact that human don't fully understand yet. The tremendous broadcasting effect that human had not experienced before needs further scrutiny for its impact positive and negative. We have been practicing and advocating freedom of expression in the paradigm of news papers and TV, where the publishers are held accountable for editorial accountability. Or in the form of self-expression on the streets, or town square, where the impact of info/rumor/attach is much smaller than the current social media. One entity (a person or a bot) with millions of followers can spread info/rumor/attack. It seems absurd that such huge scale of spreading information can be without accountability. It's like that a society has to regulate automobile for its traffic accountability due to its much greater dangers to the society, but few or none for the horse-drawn carriage and the pedestrians.

I think that Twitter or other social media may have tiered censorship based the number of followers to limit it to be the appropriate human-scale of influence

We need to exam these issues in the context of social impact.

I found the answer. It will be billed by open.ai. There is a free trial of $18 grant. It's probably good for 6 months.

Thanks for creating the tool! I tried it, indeed a time saver from Googling or reading man pages.

I have a question about the price:

"Pricing

The current prompt length is ~840 tokens and the pricing for text-davinci-002 is $0.02 for 1K tokens which is ~$0.017/command. We'll see if we can improve the response as well as reduce the per-command-cost with fine-tuning."

I wonder how is the price is charged? How can I control my liability of the cost?

Thanks again!

Have you tried PlantUML? It provides means of adjusting the layout. I use it often, most of the time the adjustment is good enough for engineering communication within minutes of adjustment. It could be better if there is more cohesive documentation of its support for the adjustment. I had to search on Google many times to figure out how to add the adjustment. The adjustment consists of directives of placement and direction of links, the length of links, grouping of notes, etc. I feel that it's very promising with more popular support.

It's much more sophisticated! It might be very powerful to have some wordsmith support in the authoring of the text, for example, in the org-mode of emacs, especially, the collapse (folding) of sub-trees.

PlantUML provides such extra "perusation" to the layout. It works often.

But PlantUML's documentation is too scattered that it's hard to know how much it supports.

Overall, to me, PlantUML is one of the more promising trade-off for userability and sophistication.

I wonder if we could pool our resource together to help one reach to more userability.

Very interesting. It might be very powerful to somehow integrate with emacs/vim so that their wordsmith capability can facilitate the little discipline in text editing.

How do I export the diagram generated?
