yeah, recent Microsoft attitude for development tools is excellent. They opensourced a lot of codes, released Visual Studio Code, and integrated Windows with bash shell. I assume Apple is becoming less dev-oriented company, seeing they are making light of pro tools like MacPro and function keys.

I'm taking a more drastic way; turning media.{mp4, webm, ...}.enabled into False never let YouTube and other media autoplay(even play nomally) without any addons. When I want to watch videos, download them by youtube-dl and watch locally.

I also want to build a self-host data completion proxy on my own. But the more web sites support SSL connection, the less impacts on the data completion in the future I think. WWW are moving toward the all encrypted internet, so is this kind of technologies a temporary stuff? Or is there a possibility to reduce data transfers under the SSL protocol?

You mean I can issue multiple certs at each subdomain separately instead of one wildcard cert? That's promising. It's also OK on my personal use.

Why are wildcard SSL certs so expensive? I want to use SSL certs on my personal subdomains, but they are usually priced at around $150/year at least. I hope let's encrypt will support multi or subdomains.

Do they have any plans to support python3? I want to use it on Arch and Ubuntu. FAQ says they will address this issue by python3 becomes mainstream, but what does the mainstream exactly mean? When RHEL set python3 as default? Python2 maintenance continues until 2020, so seems have to wait for more several years.

I'm curious about how large companies manage their status pages. Are they running dedicated servers, internet access lines and DNS etc... for only indicating service status? What happens if status pages go down. Is there a status page of status page?
