This works on the latest firmware, until they patch it, you can buy even new consoles that are vulnerable.

As it has been proven multiple times with the current US administration, no, US companies do not have the agency to refuse government overreach, they can just purchase favours (which I highly doubt is different from PRC and its government).

GeForce Now allows you to play any game you own on steam, am I mistaken that you can play GTA V and IV and San Andreas (the horrible remake) this way?

You are correct that two wrongs don't make a right, but I think that it is obvious that the threat was not real, only symbolic. Therefore it wasn't "wrong". Meanwhile the original, not prosecuted threat message, was real. It's clear that it shows both vindictiveness and unwillingness to protect certain people.

Yes you are correct, but technically the parliament passes the laws, so they have the final say. It should be the commission that gets slapped in the face (or even better dissolved as it's quite undemocratic), but what can you do...

In Denmark a similar system (NemID) gave you a piece of paper with long alphanumeric codes to be used instead of the app. Now it's replaced by another system (MitID) which I haven't verified that supports those, but it's highly unlikely that it stopped supporting physical codes.

It's actually quite a good idea to have this, even if you have a smartphone, in case that you lose access to it temporarily.

The parent poster is implying that Qatar is funding / helping Hamas, and by proxy kidnaps / rocket bombs civilians etc.

There are neurodivergent people who have a low threshold for how long "normal" eye contact lasts. Using smartphones is also an excellent excuse to avoid eye contact.

Yes. But it can more reasonably force the company to retain the employees of said project, and move them to other projects instead of firing them.
