It's less common, but if you're willing to contract for the company then working remotely isn't too difficult to find.

If you want a salary, then it's easier to start off working on-site then ask to transition to remote down the line - or ask for more flexibility like 1 day off the week, etc.

I really like this completely transparent approach. They should totally stream coding sessions too.

By Jr. do you mean a paid internship? And when you say no one is hiring, do you mean in Portland, OR, or including SF?

I've always found it odd why people say this. It's a horrible analogy, either you don't understand what a Ponzi scheme is or your don't understand what bitcoin is.

How about a site where you enter your SSN? Then if you're ever listed as deceased in the Social Security Death Index, that will be the trigger.

Police brutality will never go away unless the the police themselves hold officers accountable for such actions. Sadly, they just don't, or give them a slap on the wrist when they cross the line.

Firefox - searching for opponent for over 30 minutes.

Chrome - finds opponent in seconds. Loses connection after 30 seconds - 1 minute. Buggy as all hell.

Your multiplayer code needs work.

You can't for incompetence, but you sure as hell can for fraud.

hq4x definitely looks the best and most accurate. If it only further smoothed the jaggies, it would look phenomenal.

I think hq4x is the best. Microsoft's curves too much - and while it can look good/stylized for some pieces, it's ultimately inaccurate and warps many of the pieces from their original form.

The easiest way to create AI would be to make a model our own brain's neural pathways. With a computer model we could analyze and break down what makes consciousness/intelligence, etc.

Over bitcoin maybe (along with some disadvantages). However,it doesn't have any technical merit over litecoin, or many of the other several dozen litecoin clones.

Sure, if you get a 1 bedroom apartment =/

There are plenty of places with decent rooms you can rent for $800-1000. I paid $825 for my old place in South San Francisco (20 min commute to SF). It was a 2300sqft house shared by 3 others.

Isn't trusting your credit card number to small business you consider unreliable just as bad or worse than the alternative?
