Those are made from used HP cartridges, so they have a shorter life span.

No, those are just repackaged OEM cartridges. And usually they've already been used, which is why they're cheaper.

>HP cartridges including the printheads will take a lot of complexity away from the open design.

Yes, but it also means it won't be cheaper or more reliable than a regular printer. The print head is what fails most often and you'll still have to buy a new one.

>basically everything has usb C on the device end

Yes, but we're talking about the ports on the Steam Machine, so the host end is what matters. And gaming peripherals are likely even more skewed towards USB A, because Macs are not the main target for that.

That might be the case for you. But if I search for USB mouse or keyboard on Amazon they're mostly USB A on the host end. And desktop PCs still have way more USB A than USB C ports. Macs are an exception.

You must be living in some (Apple?) bubble.

Most new gaming mice and keyboards sold in 2026 use USB A. Not to mention all the older ones that still work.

Why, is there a better alternative to the PHP-based forums? (I tried Discourse and it sucks.)

That probably had nothing to do with LibreOffice. Lots of people have had their MS accounts locked for no reason. I guess the automatic abuse detection system just sucks.

My advice is don't use a MS account if you can, at least not for anything critical. You don't need it for development, you can use 3rd party CAs for signatures.

The command (oobe\bypassnro) still works in 25H2. There was some talk that they're going to remove it, but so far it hasn't happened.

Google and Apple's staff do look at people's photos, at least occasionally. The typical excuse is detecting rule violations.

It's not the same as doing this systematically (like Meta here), but these are shades of gray. A serious privacy law would prohibit both.

>sending it to Meta AI would be a AVG (GDPR) violation in the Netherlands if no consent is given as you share it with a third party.

Wouldn't that make "photo cloud backups" without consent illegal as well?

People do that all the time, sending private photos to Google, Apple etc.

>IMO the security pitchforking on OpenClaw is just so overdone.

Isn't the whole selling point of OpenClaw that you give it valuable (personal) data to work on, which would typically also be processed by 3rd party LLMs?

The security and privacy implications are massive. The only way to use it "safely" is by not giving it much of value.

Neither Home nor Pro really require a MS account. You can skip that during setup (for example with "bypassNRO"). This might change in the future, but as of 25H2 the workarounds still work.
