I feel your pain. My all-time favorite phone was the Moto E2 (4.5-inch screen), and would still be using it if I hadn't dropped it in water. I don't think I'll ever get a budget or semi-budget phone that is as comfortable to use.

Is that a genuine question or a rhetorical one?

> Just think - the time you spent writing that snarky response could just as easily have been spent writing...

Is it better to feed fish to a person, or teach them to catch one?

I admit that I was snarky as a response to the entitlement I sensed in his reply to the LMGTFY link. When I come across a discussion on Hacker News (or elsewhere) talking about things I don't know, I take a moment to Google first.

Because asking "who is he, and why should I care?" (which is what the original question amounts to) isn't contributing to the discussion much either.

Civil (and informative) comments like yours are why I come to HN.

Can you help me see how the title is clickbait?

Extremely fascinating. Seeing the alien-ness of the creatures, I wonder if any fiction writers have written well-researched stories set in this portion of the ocean? Seems like it would make for a fascinating setting.

Yup, that's what I meant too - I just mangled the sentence badly, sorry.

Ah. The post is using the correct 'its'. I started doubting my grasp of grammar after I saw your comment, and after reading through Merriam-Webster's article on the usage of 'its versus it's', was ready to punch out a snarky retort about how it was _you_ who got it wrong.

Good thing I clicked on the link before all that.

This news item is an eye-opener for me. As a Wodehouse fan I'd always assumed the Nazi broadcast incident was a small blip in his life. Did not realize it had such a major impact on his life.
