I 'was' a technical person, so id gravitated here to learn. Ive since left that role but I still enjoy the higher level of commentary here. One can only Reddit so much.

Ive heard through the grave vine that approaching Amazon via customer service and asking for the primary shipper to handle all phases of the process will stop your packages from getting handed to local services.

Does the enterprise product move slower?

So I decided to email them about how they are funded and this was the response :

Hi there, bitwarden is currently sponsored by the Microsoft BizSpark program which covers many of our operation costs and allows us to offer services for free to our users. We are working to introduce enterprise features for businesses in the future which will allow us to monetize. For now though, everything is free for users.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I cant think of any two Windows programs I use who's basic interaction varies as wildly as Linux program interaction can vary.

As far as I know, the straw that broke the camel's back was CM inc breaking a device exclusivity contract which as one can imagine hurt revenue and anger investors. That coupled with some aggressive PR in years past lead to this.

Trade financial stability now for passions later is my take on this post, this resonates with me strongly as I'm at this very crossroads (and im a millennial) and leaning towards financial stability to provide foundation on which to find my passion. I always found it hard to "explore" what I wanted to do because time was always limited by how much money I had and I never had a lot.
