Someone else with more experience could chime in but I would put it at less practical due to latency (sats are very high up), bandwidth (one laser vs a bundle of 1000s of fiber optic cables), cost (to overcome latency you need a closer orbit which requires more sats), single point of failure, lifespan, intercepted communications, solar flares… and that’s just off the top of my head.

This data is used in aggregate to decypher household penetration and refine known data about demographics and household income.

Here's an example of the sorta-end-game: Currently they can know how many kind of "devices" are in your household and using probabilistic statistics give a decent n value of how many "devices" are in a certain zip code. Using that, your advertising can become more efficient by only buying ads in zip codes that contain certain "devices".

I say Zip code because that's what I've worked on in the past at the most granular level for Marketing Mix Modeling or MMM. You can easily venn diagram your first party data with 3rd party brokers, and you can cleanroom the whole thing to get a decent venn-diagram of the overlap.

It's only Coca-Cola if it comes from the Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée of Atlanta, otherwise it's only a sparking cola beverage.

It's a catch-22: I already gambled the coin I was going to use for the heads-or-tails bet.

Just take a look at the photos of his residences, it's filled with big black redaction squares of the "artwork" and photos on his walls and the little bits that can be seen lend a huge credence to his prior conviction.

Absolutely bonkers to say he's a "somewhat flawed person" when there's gigs of PDFs of some of the most heinous things imaginable.

Insane thing to write when the "purity test" is not supporting/investing in a defense contractor with a CEO who begged Epstein to go to the island.

Zip was fairly defacto RW media between ~1997-2004.

I was in College around that time and the blue Mac G3's in most computer labs had Zip drives, and many PC's in the labs had Zip drives too.

Anecdotally on how this affects the day to day user experience: I just deployed T-Mobile 5G Business Internet to a temporary pop-up art space (it's only active for a few months) and I'd say twice daily I get a CAPTCHA challenge on Google search.

On the used market you'll find absolutely cooked (literally) Leafs whose first life was in Arizona and barely have enough range to back out of the driveway.

I’m not any sort of analyst but from my understanding the threats Thai faces is Cambodia border skirmishes and Myanmar both of which could be handled with any aircraft.

China is a non starter, even a next gen aircraft is no match for their entire military.

“Best” but you’re going to spend millions per missile system to have “the best”.

Israel quickly found out when trying to shoot down “cheap” $30k Iranian drones.
