There are numerous clips of Rabbis openly promoting the extermination of Palestinians.

They use the story of Amalek from the Torah.

One of the Rabbis I watched recently said "when you kill the first child it breaks your heart [...] then you start to enjoy it."

_Many_ Rabbis are demanding that animals, children, women and unarmed males be "erased." IDF soldiers are bragging about killing and raping civilians on social media. One IDF soldier was complaining he hasn't shot any children under 12 yet.

Netanyahu is a moderate. He's not an "extremist."

What's the true purpose of crypto? It can be used to escape the banking system?

Concerned about these R&D layoffs and startup closures. I love startups and cannot go back to the mind drudgery of corporate offices. Remote work changed my life for the better.

Feel like there's a massive recession coming and it's time to hold onto my job as long as possible, sell my house and start a company.

Aiming for 10 - 15 years of runway (without tapping into my retirement accounts) to make this succeed.

Already learned Software Development, now it's time to learn Copy, Marketing, Sales, Accounting, Recruiting, Networking, Social Skills, etc.

Looks like it from the Documentation. The User and Developer Guide references Atom quite a bit (includes the original Atom docs too)

An aside, but I wish more webpages for applications put screenshots on the front page. Probably would had made it easier to notice if the application was based on Electron or not

Now I believe Peter Zeihan when he says we'll likely enter an energy crisis that encompasses the majority of the world later this decade.

This is good advice. Learning lessons is not the same as wallowing and reliving the past.

Lost half my money in Gold/Silver mining stocks. Broke at 30.

Didn't start that businesses I wanted to in my 20s. Would had been in the same position financially by now anyway.

Yeah. Their idea was to reduce the population until you reach a number low enough that is viable for the ecosystem. The population would then be "maintained" at a stable level. Most people would not be able to afford children.

You could make child-rearing unaffordable enough to require government assistance. Then that assistance could be limited by quota. There's a lot of things that could happen in the future. We don't really know. It's just a guess.

Another thing that In vitro fertilization solves is allowing for women to focus on their careers from age 20 - 50. If people in the future are going to live longer and be healthier, then it'd be feasible to have children (through surrogate) at the age of 50. If you'd already amassed enough wealth (or had privy to subsidies), I couldn't see why not...

Surrogacy will be the next big thing. Women in poorer countries will birth the children for wealthier nations. This will aid in the reduction of family formation in poorer countries and serve as population control. While ensuring no one country becomes too populated.

H.G. Wells pointed out that we cannot have population control in one nation of the world, but not another. It must be worldwide, or it'd result in severe unrest.

Julian Huxley, H.G. Wells, Charles Pincus (and many more) made this one of the defining issues of the 20th century. The Pill and IVF were long in the works and heavily funded as a means to avoid the "Population Bomb."

They envisioned a new world without war or environmental destruction. Their solution was to reduce the birth rate, through various means. The reduction of family formation being one of them.

It's interesting to read through these older works and realize the world they'd envisioned has to some extent come to fruition.

The biggest problem with the ARC GPUs is the inconsistent frame times.

Even with ReBar enabled, there's something wrong with the scheduler, firmware or driver.

AMD and Nvidia have had a lot of years to optimize their stack and get better consistency.

Averages are useful, but they don't tell the entire story. Hopefully the next iteration of cards from Intel resolves these issues.

Cities would stop caring about new residents then (as they've done in Canada.)

They mostly cater to the existing residents that own homes and partake in municipal voting.

They'll stop creating new housing developments and put massive permitting fees on proposals for new construction.
