Generally speaking, with my three kids, if they act up and do that we take away the fun stuff. First it'll be the immediate reach toys, for my oldest, she'll have her tablet / game time taken away completely. My middle daughter, she loves to wear dresses, so we'll take those and put them in a separate container where she is not allowed to wear them (she has to wear normal t-shirt and shorts/pants). They hate it, but then forget it was taken away. Later they'll come crawling back and ask if they can have it back. This is when we ask them why we took it away and try to make it productive. It generally depends on what they did to get it taken away to begin with.

I do wish to see comptime stuff in C some day. Or at a minimum your `defblock` implemented. I am so tired of having to escape new lines.

The minimal setup is nice to customize per project or set of projects. Tailor made specific for the use case. Only grab extensions where necessary, I've made a few for myself and work to help me.

If Armin and Mario want, they can just as easily move this back into a package and make it an optional thing to support if they want. There was already a heavily used mcp adapter package that they appear to have just finally incorporated fully.

Though as time progresses, they are probably going to do the same with sub-agents.

If you exercise them, they are yours.

Kids love games regardless of depth. It's definitely about what they find interesting and what the reward structure is. My kids don't understand Factorio and that's okay with me, but the do love fiddling around with the old Pokemon GBA games.

Well if "kessler syndrome" is likely, you won't need many missiles.

edit: what satellites are in geosynchronous orbit that are running AI workloads?

Yes you can shoot them. The US has had this capability for a long time. Anti satellite missiles exist and they can be launched from an F-15 at it's highest altitude.

C29 is shaping up to be some quality of life changes. And it looks like clang has a lot of it implemented already. GCC seems to be implementing some of them. `countof(thing)` seems handy so I don't have to define some constant and use them in both places.

I remember `defer` being up for consideration for the last consortium but it got yanked. Lambdas would definitely be nice to have.

My biggest problem with fiction books is that it is hard to build suspense when I can clearly see I have another 100 pages to go or if I know that it's a series. After I realized that in my late teens fiction was very difficult to keep at consistently.
