This paper indicates a relationship between a lack of economic opportunity and opioid addiction: https://aspe.hhs.gov/system/files/pdf/259261/ASPEEconomicOpp...

I understand that you may have strong personal feelings about individuals who use drugs but I would encourage you to not make claims based exclusively on those.

I found a handful of sites that offer this service by searching Google for the phrase “Yelp for Landlords”. I have included an example above.

Depending ones feelings about AGI, you might have saved the humans from extinction by keeping it to yourself.

Not familiar with that interpretation, though there is another similar one that refers to what you mentioned: “written in stone”

To imply that the pursuit and achievement of an English undergraduate degree confers absolutely zero benefit or skill (or that everything even needs to be a “skill”, but that’s another conversation) is inaccurate at best. The ability to parse complex written information/documentation and distill value from it as well as to clarify your own thoughts in writing and communication is absolutely valuable and enriching for an individual.

Though I could very well be wrong and it is an absolutely useless degree, after all, I majored in philosophy ;)

How could they know when the founder sold stock? Is this public information?

I agree with your premise on the higher end but a $500 and $5000 salary are dramatically different. You won’t go hungry on 5k if you are frugal while $500 could kill you.

Where can I find more information about the history of the region? I know so little.

It is a bit difficult to tell but it appears that the author did consume water, but only water. This was just a normal fast that he called a ‘water fast’.

Honestly, depending on the establishment you work in, your sense of taste and smell don’t matter much as a line cook or a regular prep employee. You are outputting dozens of the same dish repeatedly in the same order with the same ratio of ingredients. More of an assembly line with a series of predetermined steps than a creative expression through food. A batch of soup may be tasted once at the beginning of the shift when it is prepared but it usually isn’t being checked on the fly.
