Is the man from the original article mentioned anywhere in the article you linked, or is that just whataboutism and speculation about the man in question and his beliefs?

Except in this case it's within reasonable expectations that starting airplay from within an app will only project the app's content and not your whole screen or other apps

The goal of that machine is clearly not performance, she's probably just using a chip she's fond of

Can you please say what exactly you're implying here and what that has to do with the situation AnitaB is in?

Human builds a bomb and places it in a crowded place. Do you deal with the bomb or the human first?

If you manually select the language instead of using the "Detect language" thing, you can use the old google translate model by clicking on "advanced" at the bottom

In that case, why can you expand the AI overview and get a text box to reply to it? I'm sure Google could easily figure out how to filter what queries should trigger the AI overview or not, so if this is still there then I can only assume it's a conscious choice.

I've seen dolls' tea parties that were absolutely violent when I was a kid, with the dolls ending up insulting each other and/or fighting.

I agree that HN is not the place for that, but on the other hand a lot of his policies have very real effects on a lot of people, so not everyone can afford to ignore him. And while this one policy doesn't really impact anyone, it does serve to prove to the rest of the world how self-centered he is.

I don't see how that correlates, and that's already pretty much what they do anyway. The reporter's issue wasn't that it didn't get fixed (it did), but that it wasn't given a CVE.

Why do people "break the law" to come to the US, and how do their coming affect you negatively? And again, H1-B is not an immigrant visa, I don't see why you're talking about it here.

I don't see how any of this is reasonable. I've heard people say stuff like "I'm not against immigration but they should come through legal means," so how does preventing people from accessing those legal means help anyone? For a country that was built on immigration that seems awfully anti-American.

Wouldn't it make more sense to make the legal process shorter and less unnecessarily bureaucratic so that people are less likely to come in the country undocumented?

Furthermore, the whole "immigrants are stealing our jobs" talking point seems to be built on a lot of false pretenses (and anectodtal evidence is not good evidence), not to mention this is about immigrant visas, which the H1-B is not.

I obviously don't know about that person's mom, but a lot of hosting platforms and blog providers will do that for you if you don't want to do it yourself.
