I sure wish Tizen was rooted. I’d love to custom flash over the slow ass Samsung UI.

Exactly. Shut yourself off, you get shut off. I don’t give a damn you want me working the mouse on your site. Your site probably sucks ass and loaded with ads and popup offers and cookie banners and login hoops other bullshit I can’t stand that wasted my time. Oh check my email for a one time code becuase you don’t like passkeys.

My CA registration was going to be around $2k. Then I moved to Florida. $40 including the $2.95 credit card fee and $1 mail it to me instead of pickup. Sanity is possible in registrations, CA is just greedy, corrupt, and led by fuckwads.

Temu Harry Potter back with another banger. Yes China likes to steal IP. Did he learn this in his ~1 month at Anthropic where he had clearly had executive level access? Amazing he had such access to such detailed, specific information just after the effective altrusism indoctrination onboarding.

This is already a thing to some extent. I don’t recall the products that do it, but judge profiles def exist and are taken into account .

Anyone on HN heard of defending themselves before? The economic losses and impact on this country’s business and IP is staggering. It always annoyed me in breach response that we couldn’t hack back. Just lie there and take it is some very weak posture. We don’t negotiate with terrorists, so why don’t we stop being pillaged by know bad actors/states/org crime?

The Advertising ID field/ Nice of them to think of this, but it doesn't seem that I could actually get this from any of my Samsung TVs, Apple devices, apps?, etc? So while that field is nice and all, without transparency on getting the ad ID, those fields kind of do nothing.

LastPass is still behind TMobile on breach frequency, but maybe they will catch up soon.

Covered in Chris Voss book Never Split the Difference. Works well in practice based on my own personal experiences.

I hope a family-level AI appliance is a thing later. Local non-cloud assistant that lives in the house, families interact via voice or phones or whatever. Knows the contextual family stuff you need, etc.

I think the idea is crash the stock market to force interest rate drop to refinance the massive debt.
