Why can't I prompt. "Make me a million dollars, no crime" and it work though?

I could put zero effort into writing a quick post on some piece of programming knowledge. But if someone needed that information, I suspect that they would feel happy to read the sentences and not care about the process.

I don't think this "effort" argument for technical knowledge pieces makes sense to me. If there is something I need, I do some research and I look for signals of authoritative information. I don't really care about how much effort it takes to write a blog post.

This is basically what seti and the computing @home projects did. Just doesn't get as much support outside of hobbiest and institutions.

Working with good recruiters is my best advice now. They will actually talk to hiring managers and good corps will pay money for good people.

If you recieve any recruiter inbound, I would take their meeting and then let them know your goal of getting placed at whatever type of role youre looking for.

The ability to hold laweyers accountable not a panacea. In this instance most competent lawyers are going to still give conflicting good advice and charge for it.

Because truly the answer boils down to "it depends" and many people will take it many different ways and not be "wrong". Publishing anonymously is a good choice, publishing publically and complying with a removal order is a good choice, not publishing is a good choice.

"Good" here being somewhat sound in that it likely wont cause the person publishing a huge life changing issue.

I thought about this as well. The dsytopian world I think will exist in the future where the Waymo is priced higher and people will want to take it more, over a cheaper Uber. Precisely because the human driver is removed from the equation.

So yes, I think they will be able to turn a profit by charging more for the experience. Which is a humanless car.

I agree. I am not sure why they dont "just" wait until all the releases are ready before publishing and give a 14 day "deadline to publish" instead of a potential security vulnerability.

I understand wanting to get things out ASAP. but two weeks is not the end of the world to wait as a consumer of professional software packages.

While cool, whenever I see AI being used to do work that is to me, creative and fulfilling. I think of the quote:

"I love that AI has taken all the creative and art jobs, so that we humans can work in the coal mines."

Obviously its nice that a person can make a movie or movie prototype on their own, with their own setup without needing a million dollars. But like you could also get a video camera and some friends and make a one room movie that tells a compelling story. At the end of the day, the audience wants a compelling story, and when I feel it comes from AI. I just... can't be compelled. Maybe I am out of touch.
