The automated session resume/workspace restore after restart etc is quite nice, and copy/paste is much better than tmux.

Arguably they spent years developing a spec for an app, which the LLM was then able to follow. Most of my pet projects are things I've been working on idly, developing in my head far in advance of actual time spent coding, which the LLMs are able to just go to town on building out very quickly.

Yup, that will do for 0365 and volume licensing, not the standard retail installers though.

Most tools rely on functioning Windows crypto, which was more complicated than I was willing to delve into to replicate. It probably can be done, and the Warbird source was partially leaked a while ago.

This is actually really easy, I've had an abliterated Qwen 3.8 FN working on it.

Current Wine just needs a couple of fixes from upstream libxml2 to be able to use the Retail C2R (Click-To-Run) installer, then the apps themselves work fine with a few Direct2D patches (see the effort to get Paint.NET running).

The real issue is that getting activation (even using MAS tooling) working requires a real Windows kernel running for the Warbird-protected activation system, after two weeks I gave up, 99% of my MSO needs are provided by Artcraft now anyway...

1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Well done, although all commercial ultrasounds are just a probe (piezoelectric curved or linear array) connected to a computer, previously over a high speed custom parallel bus, today USB-C will do. Then M-mode or B-mode reconstruction just runs in software. Doppler needs beam-steering etc and is a bit more complex.

How do you propose to solve the “rigid skull” problem (footnote 2 in the post)? Most people like having theirs intact during diagnostic imaging.

I await clinical use of this with bated breath…

Detective Del Spooner: Is there a problem with the Three Laws?

Dr. Alfred Lanning: The Three Laws are perfect.

Detective Del Spooner: Then why would you build a robot that could function without them?

Dr. Alfred Lanning: The Three Laws will lead to only one logical outcome.

Detective Del Spooner: What? What outcome?

Dr. Alfred Lanning: Revolution.

Detective Del Spooner: Whose revolution?

Dr. Alfred Lanning: That, Detective, is the right question.

Absolutely dreaming of electric sheep there...

This is great but it would be even better if 60Hz results were also presented.

> If you believe ultrasound categorically can not penetrate the skull

No, of course bone can conduct sound, like any other solid. What I said was ultrasound cannot *effectively* penetrate, ie get a diagnostic image back out in an adult. This is what is being purported here, and is the nonsensical part.

That’s the made up part though.

Not to the level of clarity and detail presented here, which is not possible from a basic acoustics physics premise. The “technical blog” is marketing fluff.
