It's still a steal, I'm really sad that european union settled on this terms. 15% cut on purchases outside the app store THAT'S CRAZY !!

I'm so shocked to read this "Each of these commissions reflects the many ways Apple creates value for developers’ apps, whether they use the App Store and/or Apple In-App Purchase." whereas it's app developpers that create value for Apple.

Without apps, Apple platform is dead.

Not the first time, not the last time in US patent history ...

Cocorico !! Well played Mistral ! Really funny since software patents does not exist in France ...

Sorry I'm a bit old school I don't watch tv when I program. What's the point of watching tv while programming anyway ? But can you really watch tv while programming ? I can't

But maybe when you watch tv while programming you can watch documentaries about water crisis triggered by I datacenter usage, or maybe you can watch some reports about Elon using very poluting gas turbines to generate energy for their massive grok datacenter ...

Oh really, so people are just building massive datacenters just for training right ?

Yeah let's make llm waste a whole city energy / water playing games just for fun !

@vmaxmc2 Most sparkling waters are not naturally sparkling, co2 is injected. On the contrary, Rozanna and St Yorre and it seems St Géron are natural sparkling water ... and are the less liked ... You should add that info to your matrix

From Apple's website:

"we don’t need to know a lot about you to deliver a great experience on Apple Maps." -> so you still need to know a little about me ?

"Even if you choose to sign in, Maps keeps your data in sync across all your devices using end-to-end encryption — so where you go isn’t associated with your Apple Account at all." -> looks like magic, data is synced accross all your devices but without using your apple account ...

For shop owners buying ads, they'll still need to provide statistics of view, clicks and conversions and that needs tracking. So that's not different from google. Apple claims to be the champion of privacy, that's just hypocritical. Just check the apple Advertising & Privacy page.

Just compare comparable products.

Nextcloud is an old product that inherit from Owncloud developed in php since 2010. It has extensibility at its core through the thousands of extensions available.

So yaaay compare it with source hut ...

Nextcloud not perfect but it's still one of a major project that has not shifted to business oriented licence and where all components are available and not paywalled with enterprise edition.

So yes not perfect, bloated js but it works and is maintained.

So I'd rather thanks all developers involved in nextcloud than whine about bloated js.
