Submitting yourself for security clearances involves signing up for these investigations. Either he did so and regrets it, or he took a job that absolutely requires that he did, but he didn't.

> Asked about the Iran War's effect on defense stocks, Lockheed Martin CEO says: "Investors need to know and understand that this demand is not fleeting — it's permanent." https://x.com/kenklippenstein/status/2111132777449959923

There will be a judgement call made, a balance struck. Some amount of business, not enough to invest in catching contaminants or keep workers off food stamps, but enough to fund lobbying and other efforts to maintain that comfortable permanence.

You haven't said what the indie studio perspective is. What damage would this do to indie gaming? Does it come above consumer rights?

> AI is just a tool, if your ability to form relationships was easily displaced by a tool, then I'd say it says a lot about the ability rather than the tool.

In abstract, sure, but that is a much shallower discussion that many people are strongly disinterested in. It's generic, where a human decompile may not be (as a cloner I haven't looked into those projects). I don't like the idea of a group of fans of art frames saying don't bother looking at what's in the art frame, our conversation is equal.

Also not a lawyer, but some of that applies to anyone within 100 miles of a border, a coastline.

This isn't the case, but if that rule also applied to airports, then I wonder what portion of the population is safe.

> The US list also favors a newer wave of ancient biblical names that only gained real traction in recent decades, giving them a more modern feel despite their centuries of history. Levi, Asher, Ezra, Josiah, Ezekiel, Silas, Adriel and Micah all rank in the American top 100 for boys. Some of these revivals are shared favorites, including Noah, Elijah, Isaac, Caleb and Ezra, and Delilah and Eden for girls.

From the article, plus the two UK biblical names Jude and Reuben. For the UK, I think most of these are second-order, if that is the right way to describe appreciating a name without using it for the same reason as the parents being copied.

I'd like to know whether names are popular because of their theme, eg biblical, or a famous namesake. Parents aren't asked, so there's no real data.

Currently on in the Serpentine Gallery in Hyde Park until the 23rd August.

I recently read his book Secret Knowledge on how many of the Old Masters may have used optics, and it's affected my thoughts every day I've looked at old paintings since then.

Those two (and more) exist in chrome://flags in Chrome 147. I'm disabling them now, with the expectation that will prevent the new default.

One option I'm leaving as default is "Use LiteRT-LM runtime for on-device model service inference." Any comment on that?

As a project member, I want users to already be logged in to the bug tracker. The lack of friction, likely from being the network effect winner, is key. I know fossil has this, but people don't have their private keys in fossil, they (I) don't even have fossil installed.

I'd like a medal for clearing the screen of all debris. What's that you say, some of it is still useful? oh
