If this can really map prime numbers to a least a general region, would we be able to break Diffie-hellman key exchange more quickly?

If so this could be a huge blow to security.

But I must say this is amazing that they were able to visualize prime numbers in this way. These guys are geniuses.

Luck is important, but luck doesn't come to those that sit on their ass.

It sounds like you are in the dip. See Seth Godin's book on this subject.

I was in a very similar situation for one of my startups, a Shopify clone. We grew it to 50+ paying customers but stalled.

I ended up giving up all my shares to the other founders and taking a 2 year trip to Asia. The company managed to survive and was sold.

I don't regret it. Move on, if the team is good, you will reconnect and build something even better eventually.

Darn, I was hoping to buy some of these and create a fake account to see how many followers I could accumulate, kind of like "Ultra superficial".

Will they put it back?

I mean I can't imagine them holding 7 million gallons of water per day for very long before they run out of storage space.

My guess is that they will process stuff with the water, then filter and send the water back into the lake.

I can sense the skepticism in the comments, but this is amazing news!

All those people suffering from lack will have a chance to take part in our modern abundance.

I can only imagine what will happen when NK opens it's doors to SK fully. There will be a massive demand for good and services. Exciting times!

Until we can change the perception that trade jobs are 'lower class' or unclean, we will continue to have vacancies.

I once remarked to a nephew who was thinking about what to do after high school that he should consider a trade. His parents overheard, and though they agreed it was good pay they didn't want their son doing that kind of work.

Upon reflection, I wouldn't want my son to do that kind of work as well, as it's usually hard work and not looked upon favorably.

That's a tough one... I guess it would make it better, but I'm not sure about how the taxes and relationship with the company would play out...

I'm starting to notice this trend as well.

I felt it was much easier to land a job in tech 2.5 years ago when I was last looking.

Maybe we are reaching a point of too many engineers and not enough jobs?

I'm surprised they were able to reattach the nerves as well. Isn't that something that can't be reattached after being severed.

If nerve reattachment now is possible, can't we cure quadriplegics?

I'm surprised no one mentioned bitcoin mining... this would be great to capture the excess low grade heat and change it back into electricity.

I spent days almost 10 hours, completing a massive interview project for one company. I submitted a fully working solution, had unit test, was pixel perfect, and they didn't even give me an interview.

Not only that they gave me a vague reason, only after pressing for feedback.

Left a very bad taste in my mouth, don't think I'll be doing code assignments again, what a waste of time.

Would you use the service if it was 3x more expensive?

This assumes that people want to do coffee / burger flipping on a fixed schedule. Most Uber drivers I have talked to like the flexibility.
