Hmm. I know Django admin is one of the best things about Django... but why $1m? If each developer gets paid $200k/yr, that's 5 developers for 1 year? Sounds crazy to me.

I don't know, but also this is not a question that interests me. I'm not looking for tech for the sake of tech. I'm looking to solve my problems, and this solves my problems - that's all I care about.

What's surprising to me is that they always hype these pilots as being the most high-trained and smartest people in the planet.... and more often than not it sounds like they don't know what parallax is?

It's ineptitude. It's always been ineptitude.

Django Admin is pretty cool.

It's not uncommon when starting a new project that I pick Django just to have Admin, and then ignore its usual views altogether.

> It has long been known that people can form defenses and thus antibodies against viruses. But antibodies can also develop against polyethylene glycol (PEG), a substance used in cosmetics, food and medicine.

People can develop antibodies against things which are not foreign micro-organisms. TIL.

(Obvious once you think about it. What you really develop antibodies to are proteins on the surface of micro-organisms)

Well, talk about a worldview-changing moment.

I don't have a point, I was linking for those who aren't aware of the British term "PPE"

FINALLY we're getting to the point. The problem with facebook is first and foremost that it is addictive and was engineered to be addictive. About time.

Calling SBF "a math snob" kind of implies his problem was just a miscalculation.

No, he's a swindler.

I use xournal to add signatures (just pngs) and text to pdfs.

I was gonna say "run it in the stars", but yours is funnier for some reason :-)

Anyone else disappointed they didn't mention the actual number of bytes in the update?

Would you please share which city is this, that has everything within 10 minute walk in its suburbs?

I'm a European who's lived in an "American downtown" because I was told the suburbs are horrible, but what you're describing sounds great.
