This one is a metaphor for life on earth, endlessly going in circles with no way to get off or go somewhere else.

Amazing that 50% of people are nihilistic enough to just blow it up.

Is this work you're collaborating on together (as peers) or work you're supervising? Are you in any sort of relationship where you could be considered to be 'mentoring' the developer?

When collaborating, I like to provide my feedback in a way that allows the person to provide their own perspective.

"What do you think about moving this to a separate function so that we can keep each functions in the class small and focused on one specific purpose?"

When supervising you of course want to allow two-way-communication but you can be more direct, but make sure to use the correction as a teaching moment.

"Please move this block to a separate function so that we keep the functions in the class small and focused on their one specific purpose. See abc.js and xyz.js for good examples of classes that follow this pattern."

Thanks so much for the 'skip this flamewar button' aka the collapse button.

Siri almost certainly already knows all of those things. :)

In chrome://extensions there is an option that lets you give chrome extension to content served from the file:// protocol - maybe that's what you need?

You's think it would've been Agassi that had the issue with Coke.

Most hotels will do the same thing FWIW.

Off-topic: Why do people use lodash over underscore.js?

This looks like a ton of fun. Think a bright 3-year-old could play or should I wait a year?

Perhaps a Stupid Question: If Ebola is a virus, does that mean this man is permanently inoculated against it if he happens to survive?

Wow do you have a citation for that? Because that's utterly terrifying.

It's worth pointing out that Miley Cyrus didn't exactly invent this model. The old saying is "there's no such thing as bad publicity". The first example that came to my mind is Madonna who always seems to do something "stupid" and "crazy" every couple years that reminds people she exists and keeps her in the public eye.

React is not meant to replace something like Backbone, it is only the 'V' in MVC although you could argue it is also the C.

React does not ship with any code for saving your data to the server.

Maybe I'm not understanding the problem correctly, but I simply had the child components 'know' their index or id (stored in props) and then pass that to the parent with any call.

I found this curious as well. Hockey has by far the most rudimentary statistics out of the 4 major North American sports plus Soccer and yet even the hockey stats community has the ability to show how well a team does with a given player on the ice vs. without.
