My 17yo niece shows me Nike ads on her phone, and when I ask her why she’s showing me ads, she gets upset and tells me they’re not ads — they’re web experiences.

Absolutely, but that said, the web app is very good and may get you farther than you expect (i.e. combined with chrome casting).
