If you're willing to take half pay for 5 days remote, you'll actually find many options. Not too many folks are ok with half pay for remote.

Now its viable with AI to do it cheaply.

Shows how well prompted AI can significantly improve human understanding.

It's the slop patterns that seem to turn people off.

It's about perspective.

Nuclear reactions are way more powerful, but we've harness them to power our world.

Interesting thought. So maybe this answers the question of whether coding is art or science.

Hey, only rose tinted glasses will tell you the older software was not buggy. Newer software is incredibly less buggy, and significantly more secure (ala fable/mythos passed).

If course code craftsmen will feel the pinch of this change

This isn't the thread for it. But setting up a simple protocol or using one of the free dozen CDN static hosting isn't begging.

Mr. Graham is making 2 mistakes:

a) thinking that others don't understand exponential. Any reasonably college educated grad understands it well.

b) thinking that growing 93 percent every month means the founder has put in 93% more effort than the prior month.

Their argument relies upon the ideology that just because you thought and executed an idea profitably means you should continue to "earn" from it.

In the LLM age, more and more people are questioning this, and rather want to goto: effort == earnings.

I don't see any indication that's the world that's coming, and lot of opposing evidence. But perhaps it's a bet you're choosing :thumbs up: .

They did till 2025. Now more than half don't enjoy it as the technical puzzles/plumbing is gone. The outcome oriented folks find it fun (and amplified up).
