Dude in India, it was fairly common for teachers to whoop asses. There were some teachers (the good ones) whose punishment included doing squats or running around the field but there were some monsters who would horribly hit students, me in the 9th grade was beaten so bad that it started from the first row of bench and ended at the end of the last bench, the fucking monster did not even stop after me being cornered.

Reminds me of this meme:

Tech enthusiast:"My entire house is smart! Everything is connected to the cloud, automated, and I can control every appliance from my phone!"

Tech worker / Software engineer:"The only piece of technology in my house is a printer from 2004, and I keep a loaded gun next to it in case it makes a noise I don't recognize."

I hope its just a retry loop and not actually data.

I still write my comments or posts in fairly worse English than I read, and people correct me all the time. I think that is the way. Writing code/prose has become so cognitively cheap that its extremely hard not to do give in the urge to hand it over to AI. Human brain will always choose an easy way out, (and at the risk of sounding LLMy) its not just people being lazy, its just human biology.

I have seen people stopped even notes. My team pre 2023 were serious note takers and used to write great docs in confluence. Everyone had their unique little sense of humour and it was refreshing to read, to the point that you can almost always make out who wrote it. Now that uniqueness is lost, everything just averaged out. It has now become tiring to read shit online.

Not to take away anything from this guy but man, my mind just stops registering information after lines like this: `As a Junior fresh out of school, “still learning what I’m doing” isn’t a caveat — it’s the job description`

"We see a future where intelligence is a utility like electricity or water and people buy it from us on a meter." - Sam A.

This gives me very Gavin Belson vibes.

> "Reading a document like this isn’t just difficult—it is punishing."

> "The design document is no longer a proposal to build consensus, bring people along with you, and refine ideas through slow, deliberate thinking—it is a summary made by a machine, in exhausting detail, without context or perspective. "

Yeah I am skipping this one for sure.

Its not that if they have advertised themselves as a drop-in replacement or not. What made me bummed that cannonical used it as drop-in replacement and it did break some of my installation scripts.
