Interesting, the construction worker who found is said he never found one that big in all his years working in the field.

I had no idea that would be rare, what makes it relatively rare?

Surprised to see this level of discourse here on HN, reads like a reddit comment.

Copyright sucks, and Disney is bad etc, but how is using StarCraft and its assets in your random AI game okay?

I mean, creators should be allowed to exert control over how their assets and brand are used.

Not disparaging it, sincerely curious as I see it mentioned in this thread a couple of times... why would you need a blutooth remote for a kindle?

What jumped out at me is the 25-30% power reduction vs only 10-15% more speed.

Feels like we're well past the point where a new node is mainly about clocks. Power density is the real constraint now.

It's good, but man he is pompous. Every question anyone asks is answered some form of "your question is stupid"

Do you own your home? Here in Ca? You know that property tax is 1.4ish % and goes up by 2% a year, pretty much no matter what?

On a 1.5M house, that's starting at 17K a year and each year it goes up 2%, so it compounds.

That's 17k a year Just to stay in your own home.

People who don't pay property taxes here in ca, act like prop 13 means zero property taxes

Agreed, there's zero connection to his biological fathers story and how he grew up. The student visa thing is even more bizzare, it's just a bunch of incongruent sentences

Claude / Codex ex tensions inside of VSCode give you what you described. I ageee, I find people that use only the CLI barely read and review the code the agent creates until it's too late

Even better, avoid making my friends so you won't receive pesky texts asking you to hangout.

In fact, probably better to just put your desk in the bathroom for maximum efficiency!

In what? Like changing the color of the button of a website? How does that render in situ? For anything meaningful you need a preview environment

> German energy company RWE has said it will abandon its offshore wind projects in the US after reaching a $1.2bn (£892m) payout deal with President Donald Trump's Department of the Interior (DoI). > > RWE said that it will now reinvest the sum into conventional gas projects, including $900m (£669m) in a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal project in Louisiana.

Why not just give that 1.2bn to those "conventional gas" projects they want in Louisiana so bad?

Not that I agree with creating mroe "conventional gas" projects, I don't. Even just the idea of paying a company NOT to do a green energy project is completely stupid. We need more energy period.
